Unique mix of modern and traditional technologies
At African Central Mint, we always strive for perfection and efficiency. That's why we use the most modern techniques like femtosecond laser ablation and the most precise CNC milling strategies with Sodick HS-430 milling machines with linear drive. In some countries, however, it's preferred to use more traditional methods, like using the reducing machine to make the dies. We have the necessary expertise for that too. It's precisely this mix of the most advanced and traditional methods that makes us unique in this field.
Precision from design to finished product
At African Central Mint, we have implemented a quality control system that makes every deviation visible at every stage of production. A modern quality control system based on ISO standards provides insight and control over everything from the arrival of raw materials, like steel for making dies, to the materials used for producing coins. Thanks to this system, processes are constantly monitored until the products leave the factory.
