Our unique story
African Central Mint was born out of the need for a fully independent coin producer. Unlike traditional state mints, we are not tied to any specific government. This independence allows us to guide countries that want to introduce a new denomination or aim for an independent monetary system. Our years of experience and expertise make us the ideal partner for setting up a small-scale coin production plant in countries that are just starting with their own currency manufacturing process.

At African Central Mint, we work with a small but highly specialized team. Our experts have years of experience in producing gold, silver and circulation coins and possess deep knowledge of setting up and running a mint. Driven by a passion for craftsmanship and a desire to support countries in their monetary independence, we dedicate ourselves every day to delivering top-notch quality and reliable advice.
From raw material to coin
Our unique approach sets us apart: we produce everything in-house. From the production of tools for blanking, striking and engraving the dies for circulation or commemorative coins. This complete independency gives us the ability to respond quickly and efficiently to our customers' needs, whether it's governments wanting to create their own currency or investors looking for high-quality precious metal coins or bars.
